La Grotte de Champ Retard

La Grotte de Champ Retard is a former stone quarry near Coutarnoux that has been transformed into an unusual adventure park. Its climbing courses are built entirely on the rock and are largely sheltered beneath the quarry’s high vaulted roof, making the activity possible in almost any weather. Courses are available for different ability levels from the age of four, together with a thirteen-metre climbing wall featuring an automatic belay system. Other activities include paintball and orienteering. The site also has a restaurant, bar and picnic area. Reservations are required outside the regular opening days.
