About this place
This road-cycling loop from Saulieu covers 35 kilometres and includes 579 metres of climbing. The route heads towards Saint-Agnan and its lake through a quiet, wooded part of the Morvan before returning to Saulieu. The official route database classifies the loop as easy, although the continuously rolling terrain and total ascent mean that a reasonable level of fitness is still advisable. It is a good choice for cyclists looking for a shorter ride without missing the Morvan’s characteristic hills. Download the GPX file in advance and check the weather, possible roadworks and current traffic conditions before setting off.
