About this place
A museum dedicated to the life and work of Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban, born in May 1633 in Saint-Léger-Vauban and who died on 30 March 1707 in Paris. The Vauban Museum pays tribute to this great figure from the Morvan region and showcases his complete body of work. As a soldier, engineer, architect, urban planner, economist, philosopher and humanist, he devoted his life to the Kingdom of France.
