About this place
This motorcycle route is all about enjoying the ride: plenty of bends, quiet country roads, forests, small villages and constantly changing scenery.
Starting near Saint-Léger-Vauban, the route heads through Quarré-les-Tombes and Dun-les-Places towards Brassy and Lormes. It then continues to Ouroux-en-Morvan and Anost, through one of the greenest and most undulating parts of the Morvan. The return journey passes through Cussy-en-Morvan and Saulieu.
The itinerary forms a continuous loop, without unnecessary out-and-back sections. All roads are paved, although some are narrow. Be prepared for agricultural vehicles, timber trucks and occasional gravel or branches on the road.
Anost is a pleasant place for a short break, but its restaurants and cafés are not always open. Lormes and Saulieu are generally more reliable choices for lunch or a longer stop. Always check current opening hours before setting off.
