Sansange 10km

This varied circular walk explores the countryside around Sansagne and Voudenay. The route combines quiet paved lanes with farm tracks and woodland paths. Along the way, there are frequent open views across Burgundy’s gently rolling landscape.

The walk is 10.6 kilometres long and has approximately 188 metres of elevation gain. Allow around three hours, depending on your pace and the number of stops you make. The route is considered moderately difficult.

Much of the walk crosses open countryside with little shade. On warm or sunny days, take plenty of drinking water and suitable sun protection. If you are walking with a dog, bear in mind that the small streams along the route may contain little or no water during dry periods.
