mini camp site

We ourselves love camping in tents. Preferably in the middle of nature, then you can really enjoy the peace and quiet. So we would like nothing better than to create a place like this ourselves. At this moment we are still busy with the permits and preparations, but it is our dream to create 5 places with a lot of privacy and view. The spots are all about 300 m2 and only suitable for tents.

Follow us on instagram, then you can follow all developments closely!

We are going for a mini-camping and in France that means that there is no fixed water and/or electricity supply on the camping spots. This allows our terrain to recover optimally during the rest of the year and allows nature to take its course. It also means that we only have a maximum of 20 guests per day. Cars are only allowed in the car park, on the day of arrival and departure we will be happy to help you bring your belongings to the place.

In the future sanitary building, in addition to the usual facilities such as showers, toilets, washbasins and washing-up facilities, there will also be a fridge, a freezer, a microwave and a washing machine and sufficient power points to charge your mobile phone or power bank.

do you want to camp, but don’t want to pitch your own tent?

At some places there will be set-up and fully equipped tents for 2 people. What do you have to think of? A tent with real beds, fully equipped kitchen, picnic table and comfortable chairs and of course the necessary (mood) lighting. The only thing you need to bring is your toothbrush, well maybe some clothes too ;-), but bedding and towels are also provided.

sssttttt… adult only

Our site is located in a very quiet and peaceful area and we would like to keep it that way. We therefore target adults who are bound to the high season in terms of holidays, but who do not need children around them. Furthermore we ask our guests to be quiet between 10pm and 8am.

food forest

The pitches will be a green oasis with many trees, shrubs and plants in the future. But that will take some time ofcourse. This will not only provide privacy and the necessary shade, but also food. For the idea is to transform the entire site, which is now a barren meadow, into a food forest where all the plants are edible or contribute to food for the animals and insects on our site. Think of fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes such as raspberries and blueberries, but also of herbs and vegetables such as wild garlic, tree spinach or fennel.

In 2020, we have already planted a number of fruit trees on one part of our site: here we have apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, mulberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, apricot trees and gooseberry. There is also be the vegetable garden from which we have so far successfully grown tomatoes, courgettes, beets, parsnips, radishes, spinach and courgettes. If we manage to expand the vegetable garden and the trees and bushes produce enough, it will also be possible for guests to buy fruit and vegetables from us.

Since 2023 we have chickens, so please do not hesitate to ask if there are eggs available.

swimming pond

There is nothing like a refreshing dip after a long walk, which is why we would like to build a swimming pond for our guests to use. We consciously choose for a swimming pond because we think it fits much better in the environment, but even more important: there are no chemicals involved. Given the fact that we have many animals in our immediate vicinity, such as foxes, badgers, pigs, deer, martens, etc, we want nothing on our property to be harmful to them. Don’t worry: these animals are more afraid of people than we are of them, so they won’t enter the premises if people are staying there.

fire pit

Because we are situated in the regional nature park the Morvan, this means that we are surrounded by many forests. During the (mostly) dry summers it is therefore not allowed to light a fire on our grounds or to barbecue on your own pitch. But what is camping without a campfire? Exactly! That is why we are going to make a nice fire pit where everybody can safely make a fire or light up a BBQ! So get those marshmallows ready!
